QA Senior Engineer

• Reviews requirements and specifications and defines test conditions in cooperation with business analysts and developers in an agile team
• Monitor and maintain automated regression tests and support continuous integrations
• Work on test-coverage improvements and test code stability
• Designs tests with and without automation support, ensuring traceability to agreed requirements & user stories
• Executes tests with and without automation for front-end and back-end verification and retests bugs
• Analyses and reports test activities and results
• Collaborates closely with developers in test environment setup
• Creates test data and defines scope of regression tests
• Provides guidance on technical feasibility of testing tasks
• Identifies and reports issues and risks related to quality assurance area
• Coordinates the testing activities within the team and with other teams when necessary

• Minimum 1 year of experience in working with one (or more) of the programming languages: Python (preferred), JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or others
• Experience with SQL and relational data bases
• Knowledge of Agile QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Familiarity with Test Management Tools like TestRail & JIRA
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving attitude and ability to work effectively across diverse organisations, groups and functions
• Willingness to learn or improve test automation skills with Robot Framework & Python

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation tools (preferred: Robot Framework & Python)
• Good linux knowledge with focus on containers
• Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB)
• Experience with Gitlab and Gitlab pipelines
• Experience with Postgres
• Experience with AWS cloud, most notably s3 and containers in the AWS environment

Responsible for the quality and reliability of the complex logistic ecosystem comprising of multiple interconnected application including web applications, cloud components as well as stand-alone client applications. As a QA Senior Engineer you are responsible for the design, implementation, and deployment of the robust automated framework. You are also responsible for ensuring alignment between raised business requirements and delivered system functionality. You are working in the agile team where you are closely collaborating with other software engineers and other team members
