    Does a career start building on your strengths matter to you? Start in our 18-Month Global IT - Demand & Solution Management Trainee Program starting October 2024.

    During the Program you'll gain insights into different areas of our Global IT&D Land and Digital Solutions (GILDS) department. We tailor your program based on your unique strengths, interests, and goals, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Starting off in Essen or Frankfurt, Germany, you will then have the opportunity to deep dive into our department all whilst building a strong international network across DB Schenker.

    What awaits you:
    • As a Trainee in our GILDS department you will get the chance to be part of an agile product development squad and support in areas like demand management, solution design, business analytics and rollout of applications
    • In the process you will be the interface between our business unit and the developers, understanding the needs of our business and contributing to the realization of local and global IT demands
    • You will support the teams in their daily project work, be it in a guided way or in your individual responsibility
    • Participating in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to projects, process management and others
    • This program is not just about gaining experience; it's about your growth. Develop your skills and unleash your potential by contributing your own ideas to our running IT projects for business unit Land Transport, Air & Ocean Freight

    Requirements

    The skillset you bring:
    • You are in the final stages of your bachelor's or master's degree specializing on business informatics, management, computer science, IT or a related field of study
    • Your strong interest in IT, digitalization and transformation processes, coupled with any work experience, would make you a perfect fit for our program, experience with agile working methodologies (e. g. SCRUM) are a plus
    • Your analytical skills and detail- as well as solution-orientated working approach will help you to identify and solve challenges in our projects
    • Effective communication, team spirit and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse, intercultural teams and stakeholders
    • Profound Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
    • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
