    Your tasks

    Your tasks:

    • Serving as dedicated central supervisor for complex, global digital ecosystems, acting as a partner for the Business Units and other IT&D departments and facilitating digital product delivery, operations, and global rollout in close alignment with the Business Units and in line with GILDS Strategy.
    • Steering the delivery of GILDS global digital ecosystems regarding the IT&D Strategy in Land Transport, market-facing digital products, IoT, and real-time visibility.
    • Steering the delivery of global TMS, IT applications, digital products, and services based on efficient and standardized global operations.
    • Steering the customer-facing channels and digital product family across all business units.
    • Developing Land and Digital Solutions strategic landscape and communicating to Business Units and IT&D organizations.
    • Taking end-to-end responsibility and increasing the production depth of GILDS global digital ecosystems and services within the area of responsibility.
    • Provide guidance and strategic leadership for the tribes and squads associated with the division.
    • Implementing new ecosystem elements and services in close alignment with the Business Units, and the IT&D organization to shape the definition and implementation of respective business processes.
    • Providing expertise, solutions, as well as KPIs and analytics for a structured and benefit-oriented roadmap in close alignment with main stakeholders.
    • Developing digital products and services with respect to market requirements driven by customers and internal/external partners.
    • Steer Roll-Out of the GILDS ecosystems globally and digital products and services within the Business Units in all regions.
    • Derive the Division's mission from the overall Global IT Land & Digital Solutions' mission and Business Units' strategies associated to the specific business or functional area.
    • Implement and enhance a coherent and efficient work organization within the division and ensure internal alignment and synchronization of tribes and squads based on GILDS internal recommendations and best-practices defined by GILDS Enterprise Functions.
    • Supporting the development of Global Land Transport strategy of the Management Regions and major countries as well as Head Office departments in the area of responsibility.
    • Coaching and consulting Business Unit Land in how to develop and implement TMS, IT applications, digital products and services.
    • Strategy and key business development related activities of the Business Units especially in respect of market-facing activities.
    • Global IT&D strategy as well as business development related activities of the Management Regions and major countries as well as Head Office departments.

    Requirements

    Your profile:

    • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
    • Minimum 7 years' relevant working experience in managing complex organizations; previous exposure in Shipping or Logistics Industry is a definite advantage
    • Practical Knowledge of Agile Methods and experience in establishing Agile Organizations
    • Proven track record in agile product development or general experience in agile methodologies
    • Experience identifying process improvements and coordinating their implementation
    • Excellent leadership
    • Excellent understanding of project and application life cycle
    • Understanding of business and IT processes
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Self-initiative, detailed-oriented with excellent analytical skills
    • Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment
    • Team player with very good communication skills
    • Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
    • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
