    Join our team as an Airfreight Customer Service Specialist!

     

    Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our airfreight services consistently surpass customer expectations. You'll meticulously adhere to established service levels and SOPs, while managing revenue and cost parameters. With a keen eye for detail, you'll ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Proactively contributing to departmental, branch, and company objectives, you'll play a key role in our continued success.

     

    Working Days / Hours: Mon-Fri / 0900 - 1730 

    Location: Little Island, Cork (hybrid)   

     

     

    What will you be doing? 

     

    • Have good product knowledge and be able to provide appropriate pricing and rates by dealing with the Airlines and Service Providers. 
    • Generate timely and accurate Sales invoices and timely process of costs (purchase invoices). 
    • Running of Customer Bulk Invoices at month end close out 
    • Review Cass Statement monthly 
    • Assume the responsibility of Security as outlined in the company Air Cargo Security Programme. 
    • Develop a closer working relationship with our customers and develop an understanding of their needs and how we can meet and exceed their expectations and secure their future support to allow all staff members contribute to the overall Sales effort within the company. 
    • Understand our Customer Requirements and ensure the delivery of first class Customer Service. 
    • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and company standards.

    About you

     

    • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of airfreight logistics, including import/export processes, regulations, and documentation.
    • Customer Focus: Prioritize satisfaction by offering tailored solutions and prompt issue resolution throughout transactions.
    • Effective Communication: Coordinate shipments, address inquiries, and provide updates to ensure transparency and trust.
    • Detail Management: Maintain accurate import/export documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Proactive Troubleshooting: Anticipate and resolve challenges to optimize efficiency and minimize disruptions in operations.
