The Role
Join us as a Logistics Supervisor at our Contract Logistics facility in Truganina. In this vital role, you'll be instrumental in driving operational excellence for a leading global truck manufacturing brand. You'll be responsible for overseeing inbound logistics operations, as well as maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Role Highlights
- Direct, monitor and manage the activities of the logistics staff
- Develop and implement activities to support new and existing products and services
- Monitor projects, assess potential problem areas and coordinate solutions
- Ensure company WHS policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
- Introduce and maintain day to day operations standards and communication with team leaders
- Host toolbox talks, monthly communication and quarterly information sessions
- Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the inventory control
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of logistics industry experience
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in logistics processes, inventory management, and computer skills
- Sound knowledge of OH&S practices
- Ability to manage teams, multi-task, problem solve and make decisions
- Forklift license and familiarity with Warehouse Management System skills
