    As a Supervisor, you will be operational support by owning and managing the daily activities of the business in a manner that promotes the Health & Safety values of DB Schenker. You will also oversee the operations workflow ensuring the highest standards for quality and cost whilst owning responsibility for coaching your team members. You are a confident negotiator, skilled in resolving issues and serving as a link between employees and upper management.


    Location: Leixlip
    Hours: 0800 - 1630 

    What will you be doing?

    • Maintain continuous focus on employee welfare with specific emphasis on health & safety and housekeeping.
    • Supervise and organize the daily activities of the warehouse to meet the highest level of customer service and required service levels.
    • Must have above proficient Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Direct and motivate warehouse team to meet operational goals.
    • Liaise with customers daily.
    • Mentor and coach the team to ensure the full performance potential.
    About You

    • Previous supervisory experience in relevant industry and experience in training warehouse staff.
    • Customer-focused individual with experience in a logistics role within a large organization.
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
    • People management skills – the ability to motivate, coach & develop staff.
    • Ability to perform under pressure.
    • IT skills including Microsoft Office products and Warehouse Management systems
    • Knowledge of SAP and IMI systems. 
    • Understanding of multiple customer processes, including forward logistics, returns, TKM, SIRA, and iStarts.
