Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist in our dynamic Land Freight business and play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. If you have strong operational skills in land freight and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you!
- Location: Bradford, UK
- Working hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00 to 17:30 (fully onsite)
What Will You Be Doing?
- Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure all team members provide proactive customer service that meets and exceeds customer expectations.
- Managing KPIs: Oversee internal and external KPIs to maintain high service standards.
- Resolving Customer Issues: Efficiently address customer issues and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Driving Commercial Awareness: Ensure the team meets departmental targets for gross profit, revenue, and volume growth on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensuring Operational Knowledge: Maintain and apply strong operational knowledge specific to land freight and transportation.
- Operate Schenker IT Systems MS Office, and other associated tools effectively.
About You
- Experience in Land freight industry desirable.
- Proven ability to provide an efficient and proactive service to all customers and service providers.
- Strong customer focus, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and service providers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Proficiency in using IT systems, especially Schenker systems and MS Office.
