Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison with customers for region-wide business processes and operational issues.
- Establish and utilize KPIs with customers to drive internal process implementation and future improvements.
- Develop and document SOPs to ensure consistent operational integrity.
- Integrate customer IT requirements with technical staff to expedite report development, distribution, and analysis.
- Analyze workflows and develop new processes to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Manage and implement projects.
- Identify cost-saving initiatives and process improvements that benefit the customer.
Primary Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong assertiveness, critical decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to promote a high-performance culture.
- Comfortable presenting at the executive level.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Learn automated data processing concepts and tools.
- Understand data communications hardware and software.
- Utilize computer application skills to present client reports in various formats (e.g., spreadsheet, narrative, graphic).
