During the Program you'll gain insights into different areas of our Global Ocean Freight Processes & Systems department. We tailor your program based on your unique strengths, interests, and goals, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Starting off in Hamburg, Germany, you will then have the opportunity to benefit from deployment locations worldwide all whilst building a strong international network across DB Schenker
What awaits you:
- As a Trainee in our Global Ocean Freight Processes & Systems department you will get the chance to run through core areas like Productions Systems, Ocean Governance, Support, Training, Process Management, Digitization & Optimization and more
- You will take over responsibility for specific project roles, e.g. in the rollout management and/ or the requirement specification of our global applications
- Several (inter-)national implementations during the trainee program will give you the opportunity to get insights into our Ocean Freight processes and development methods
- You will support the teams in their daily project work, be it in a guided way or in your individual responsibility
- In the Digitization & Optimization workstream you will also get some insights on digital communication methods (EDI, API and RPA) with our vendors and support the team in establishing these services as our standard
- Participating in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to ocean freight, process management and others
- This program is not just about gaining experience; it's about your growth. Develop your skills and unleash your potential by leading and implementing your own projects
Requerimientos
The skillset you bring:
- You are in the final stages of your bachelor's or master's degree specializing on supply chain management, logistics, business administration, economics, industrial engineering or a related field of study
- Your interest in logistics, coupled with any work experience, especially in Ocean Freight, would make you a perfect fit for our program
- Your interest in IT related topics, digitalization and strong analytical skills enable you to identify and solve challenges quickly
- Flexibility, effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders and tasks
- Possessing strong intercultural competence, a global mindset and your willingness to travel showcases your dedication to driving global impact and fostering strong relationships
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken - German skills are not a requirement but nice to have
