What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks):
- Audit auto-rating failures, analyze root causes, and ensure corrective actions are provided to account owners or operational staff for RCM, MSRs, and eQuotePro.
- Provide support to Tender Management, Pricing teams, Drayage teams, and Operational Sales on RCM, MSRs, and eQuotePro.
- Compile, analyze, and report on customer auto-rating accuracies, addressing issues and solutions to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with regional teams and local counterparts to develop and maintain target blueprints and roadmaps.
- Create process metrics, measures, and baselines for continuous reporting on Rate & Contract Management (RCM) for the Regional Ocean RCM Manager and Head of Ocean Production Systems.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system releases or new tools related to Ocean Rate & Contract Management.
- Ensure adherence to global SOPs and Rate & Contract Management guidelines.
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
- Business-proficient English.
- Above-average Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Minimum 1 year of job experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight Operational processes and data analytics impact.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused (internal/external).
- Excellent analytical mindset and business analysis skills to identify underlying requirements and constraints.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with pricing and quoting is a plus.

Job Overview
As part of Schenker's strategy, this role is responsible for accessing and supporting cost and income reserve auto-calculation. Auto-Rating enhances operational productivity and improves net working capital. The role involves analyzing carrier contracts, MSRs (Minimum Selling Rates), and customer RFQs/Quotes to evaluate auto-rating performance. Additionally, it provides technical expertise and recommendations for stabilizing and standardizing auto-rating processes across the network while identifying and implementing improvements.
