    Responsible for the expansion of portfolio through yield optimization and ensuring quality for the customers. Must drive systematic booking & allocation management at origin to ensure timely action and reaction with providers & network to prevent bottleneck situation. Tasks & Responsibilities: Manage allocation, steer carrier choices, drive preferred carrier volume budget fulfilment, optimize VIP, building strategic carrier relationship. Drive trade strategy through steering of volume & allocation management. Assist origin clusters in defined space escalation process. Provide sufficient allocation to the network and manage it (seasonal dynamic) in line with planning / forecast. This includes allocation set up for existing business, and integration of new and additional business. Create allocation visibility to the network, both procured & internal allocation. Execution of global carrier strategy to ensure fulfilment of carrier commitment, optimizing VIP and yield. Drive preferred carrier volume budget fulfilment. Execution & supervision of contract adherence. Monitor customer performance in line with award. Ensure NAC commitment towards nominated carrier(s). Ensure weekly allocation fulfilment. Manage master Customer Matrix List & create visibility to network. Develop cargo substitution strategies to cater booking shortfall. Deviation management. Building strategic carrier relationship. Engage in proactive dialogue with carriers to prevent bottleneck. Optimize exception management in event of shortfall, rollover etc. Organize and lead in carrier quarter business review (QBR) to review business progress with all main stakeholders.
    Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills Effective communication, analytical and administrative skills. Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects / deadline. Ability to communicate at all levels of business and across cultural / national boundaries. Strong interpersonal skills, able to handle stress well. Willingness to travel and / or work overtime when required. Proven track record in business development. Excellent written and spoken English Language Completed College / University degree / Industry apprenticeship.At least 5 years Freight Forwarding (related Industry) experience.
