    Responsible for the operational management of existing complex key accounts for the organization’s US Ocean Product. Ensure state of the art operational and client facing processes are established and executed in order to create an excellent customer experience and efficient operations that support the achievement of volume, revenue and profit goals. Tasks & Responsibilities: •Responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing, and controlling of all client related operational activities •Responsible to maintain and grow account related volume and financial results in conjunction with Product Management and Commercial Account Leadership •Ensures that all operational functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established corporate and client specific procedures and requirements •Acts as a liaison between Product Management, Client Services and Commercial Account Management •Establishing of efficient organizational structures including proactive recruitment, training, and succession planning •Global Networking and working with internal and external resources and Key Account Management to identify and implement value added solutions to drive long-term growth •Service performance management: Overseeing operational performance per account requirements and performance of Root cause analysis and corrective action •Respond to complex and time sensitive logistical issues and questions; create innovative and profitable solutions •Establish business Key Performance Indicators and benchmarks and use these indicators to drive internal process improvements •Initiate and manage operational or customer related improvement projects •Coordinate the preparation and present regular business reviews to the customer •Focal point for issues management / change management •Support in growth and maintaining awarded business

    Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills: This is a management position. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and strategic skills required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Generally, prefer 5-7 years of related Operational or management experience. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of domestic and international cargo operations required. Must demonstrate working knowledge of accounting, logistics, pricing, and informational technology. We are an equal opportunity employer.
