Ocean Pricing Manager - North America Cluster

Responsible for providing solution design, operational strategy, and execution support to the North America Organization for Full Container Load Pricing. Tasks & Responsibilities: * Responsible for the development and maintenance of pricing guidelines / strategies to support the Ocean market based on trade and local country requirements * Manage a team of Snr Pricing analysts to support both network and Cluster pricing requirements for spot and SME business, as well as SME RFQs and tenders * Structure and train team to effectively execute pricing models and principles defined * Support Cluster initiatives that focus on volume growth and profitability growth through effective pricing strategies, aligned with the specific trade complexities * Develop, utilize and maintain reporting/data integrity for both internal and external reporting needs to better assess customer profitability and decision-making * Consistently review pricing team performance and hit rate of solutions/ quotations- provide corrective actions and alternate proposals to improve win ratio where solution design / pricing is a barrier * Prepare customer pricing reviews where needed and initiative/ participate in pricing presentations.

Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills This is a management position. Solid interpersonal and analytical skills required. Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years working experience in international freight forwarding strongly preferred. Generally, prefer 2+ years of related supervisory/management experience.
