    We are looking for you as a regional Finance Manager for Schenker AG for a fixed term contract until June 2026. 

    Your tasks: 

    • You play a key role in supporting the financial operations of both Warehouse and Data Center Operations for a dedicated customer in EMEA
    • The overseeing of billing processes, preparing financial reports, tracking budget vs. actuals, and providing financial insights lies in your responsibility 
    • You ensure the smooth functioning of financial activities across multiple sites
    • You support the internal and external billing process for regional and local teams and prepare and organize invoice pre-approval review meetings  with the customer and internally
    • You assist in the preparation of the budget and forecast reports and organize review meetings
    • You prepare financial data for customer reports and KPI´s 
    • You support the regional operations head and the global account management with ad-hoc input, financial analysis and reporting
    • You conduct training sessions with sites on invoicing processes and financial est practices
    • You ensure adherence to financial processes and review monthly related costs, e.g. travel, IT or Regional Team Budgets/POs and report actual monthly cost savings in collaboration with site leads and the project engineering team
    • You oversee the customer Purchase Order (PO) tracking process and maintain the Finance Dashboard and update and manage risk declaration sheets for turnover, inventory, and other key metrics across sites



    Your profile: 

    • Ideally you bring a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
    • You already gained several years of experience in operations or finance management, ideally within a multinational or regional scope
    • You have a strong understanding of billing, invoicing, budgeting, and forecasting processes and in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., SAP, Excel)
    • You have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and support cross-functional Teams
    • Ideally you gained experience in the logistics, operations, or technology sectors and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
    • You have first knowledge of regional financial regulations in EMEA
