*Position Description Summary:
Responsible for direction and management of export sales and service activities at station level or an assigned area.
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
* Oversee and manage all export related activities in accordance with company policy and procedure
* Support sales department to develop and maintain export revenues
* Negotiate and monitor export rates and services to reduce operating costs and increase profitability
* Research and resolve customer complaints on export sales, service and operational issues
* Audit and research service performance issues and develop recommendation for improvement
* Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures
* Select and place staff, ensure staff training and define specific job assignments
* Manage staff performance to ensure required level of productivity and organizational objectives are met
* Utilize effective communication skills / methods with internal and external customers

Working Environment:
Assignment Complexity - Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Act as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
Accountability - Manage through subordinate supervisors or professionals the coordination of the activities for functional area with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.
Impact of Decisions - Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and personnel, and serious delays in overall schedules.
Working Relationships - Frequently interact with subordinates, customers, and/or functional peer managers. May interact with senior management. Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers.
Scope - Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. Provide guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which effect subordinate organization(s).
Essential Functions:
Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.
Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):
This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Generally prefer 2-4 years of related supervisory/management and export/international experience.

Support the USA Cargo iQ Super User in implementation, awareness and maintenance of Cargo IQ in their area incl. support with"Global Connect - Cargo iQ" CDMP web-portal updates, ensuring Airfreight Departments in Branches are following Cargo iQ processes and requirements, reviewing monthly reports and are meeting the global Cargo iQ KPI's
