    Your tasks

    Global responsibility for the accounting, reporting and process design of specific IFRS topics. Key Player for set-up, design and preparation of stand-alone readiness expertise on Accounting Principles, IFRS competence center and consolidation of financial figures. Support of the legal entities in specific accounting issues, management requests and securing timely and quality reporting of financial figures in closing processes.

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    - Providing guidance and consultancy on application of specific IFRS with a focus on Revenue Recognition, Provisions and Intangible Assets

    - Forming DB Schenker' Accounting standards and processes towards requirements of capital markets preparation of consolidated financial figures)

    - Methodological and content-related further development of group accounting policies and their DB Schenker group wide realization according to changes of international accounting standards

    - Ensuring of business and technical requirements for the implementation of published IFRS Standards at DB Schenker

    - Supporting the as business partner for DB Schenker internal business units Air/ Ocean Freight, Land Transport and Contract Logistics, especially concerning on how to consider required accounting aspects in their daily operational work by taking the responsibility for the accounting related Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs: AC03, OG01, FA01)

    - Maintaining and updating Operational Guidelines in collaboration with the Business Units with a focus on Revenue Recognition and Sales /CoS accruals

    - Contact person for all group accounting related questions for DB Schenker companies, Tax department, DB parent company and external auditors and sparring partner for Cluster Financial Controller

    - Participating in various accounting related projects

    Requirements

    Your profile:

    - Profound knowledge of MS office, SAP FI/CO, HFM and HFM SmartView

    - Expert in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), relevant work experience with financial statements

    - Knowledge of group consolidation measures

    - Knowledge of the air and ocean freight business as well as of the current market situation

    - Language skills English proficient
