The Assistant Manager (Data Analyst) plays a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting data within the supply chain function to drive efficiency and optimize operations. This position supports data-driven decision-making, tracks supply chain metrics, and provides actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
Job Tasks:
To number crunch and provide in-depth data analysis and validation, as and when required.
To fully automate diverse BU scorecard reports using Python, R, VBA, and Power Automate.
To create and maintain multiple Power BI data visualizations for daily operations, KPI metrics, and financial analysis.
To design PowerApps to collect unavailable but beneficial data to improve productivity, justify costs, and identify anomalies.
To provide IT support and troubleshoot when platforms malfunction.
To participate in and drive OPEX and CIP initiatives.
Education: At least a diploma and/or degree holder.
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an IT-related role.
Skills: Proficient in Python, R, VBA, coding, Power Automate, Power BI, and Tableau.
Data Analytics: Strong experience in using data analytics tools.
Language: Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
Personal Qualities: Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
Leadership: Experience in managing a team.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
