Your tasks
- Point of contact for Carriers for inquiries and quotes.
- Chartering role like "acting" as Broker between internal Customer/Colleagues and External Carriers.
- Work in close cooperation with the Local & Regional Business Development Team, to develop innovative solutions to ensure DB Schenker growth the ocean chartering business.
- Assist Business Development Team on Chartering and if required in the sales/solution discussion with Clients.
- Reporting to the Ocean Chartering Manager - APAC (based in Shanghai).
Requirements
* Qualifications/Experience
* Bachelor's degree or above (prefer subject of International Shipping Management, Maritime Law, or similar).
* Confident and proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking （CET 6 or equivalent）.
* Basic knowledge on chartering and project logistics.
* 2-3 years relative experience.
