DB Schenker in Indonesia further expands its business with PT Parama Global Inspira

The distribution arm of Indonesian beauty product manufacturer, PT Paragon Technology & Innovation, for brands such as Wardah, Make Over, Biodef, and other luxurious brands. The company continues to grow its distribution network that currently includes over 75,000 stores across Indonesia. In line with the business growth and need for optimized supply chain solutions, we are constantly looking for ways to grow the scope of our services.

We started our partnership with Parama in June 2022 with three double deck trucks. Since then, we have expanded the truck fleet to 15 units. With the business continuing to increase, we expect to have a total of 17 trucks in 2023. We now provide 16 routes from the customer’s plant to multiple destinations in West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Sumatra.

To make Parama’s supply chain more sustainable, we have now replaced the existing traditional forklifts with electric forklifts which are quiet, easier to maintain and uses lesser carbon footprint. Electric forklifts are also safer to use in the warehouse areas because of a better braking system.
