Your tasks
We are looking for you as a Solution Design Manager (f/m/d) in Frankfurt.
Your tasks:
- You design best-in-class Solutions in terms of layourt, resourcing and staffing for Contract Logistics Projects within Region Europe and assist in winning new business consistent with DBS Guidelines
- You ensure that the desined solution meets all internal hurdle rates and that the calculated, operational productivities are achievable
- You apply the latest technology where possible to achieve competitive advantage both on operational / capacity as well as financials
- Your ensure that divations between the initial design and the final operational set-up get captured and priced up as Change Requests
- Your analyse customer requirements based on highlevel information and summarize general enquiries and prepare summary of key facts / figures for Go/No-Go decision of SR. Management (internal and customer)
- Your present the solutions to our key customer and prospective customers which are class leading and compliment DB Schenker standards which create value and lead to new business wins
Requirements
Your profile:
- Profound working experience in contract logistics warehousing & transports and/or manufacturing support solution design, ideally within the third-party logistics industry
- You hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in (Logistics) Engineering
- Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and presentation ability across all levels of the organization
- Goal oriented working style with an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment across multiple time-zones
- Experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp (or similar tools), simulation software and/or network modeling software is an advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently
