As a Sustainability Intern, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Research & Analysis: Assist in research on environmental trends, regulations, and sustainability best practices to support ongoing projects.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Help collect, analyze, and compile sustainability-related data to track progress on key environmental and social metrics (e.g., carbon footprint, energy usage, waste management).
- Support Sustainable Initiatives: Assist with the implementation of sustainability programs and projects, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and community engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Help coordinate communication efforts with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Content Creation: Contribute to the development of sustainability reports, newsletters, and marketing materials to share our progress with employees, customers, and partners.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and executing sustainability-related events, workshops, or campaigns (e.g., Earth Day initiatives, community outreach).
- Sustainability Audits: Support the team in conducting audits or assessments of current sustainability practices and identifying areas for improvement.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, ESG) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge:
- Interest in environmental issues and sustainability trends.
- Understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable business practices.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
