    DB Schenker to launch new warehouse for semiconductors in the Netherlands

    12,000 square meters tailored to the specific needs of chip industry • DB Schenker expands its footprint • Facility will strengthen the European semiconductor ecosystem • Scheduled to open in Fall 2025

    DB Schenker is further expanding its role as a leading logistics service provider for the semiconductor industry. The company plans to open a new contract logistics warehouse near Amsterdam, Netherlands. The site will cover a total of 18,000 square meters and will be a key step in strengthening the semiconductor industry in Europe.

This new DB Schenker facility underscores our commitment to growth and our dedication to optimizing our customers' operations, further strengthening the semiconductor logistics supply chain in Europe and globally.”

    The warehouse has already entered its construction phase. A dedicated DB Schenker team is working with business partners to prepare the facility to open in Fall 2025.

    DB Schenker will operate 12,000 square meters of the 18,000 square meter warehouse space. The company will offer services such as receiving, cross-docking, vendor managed inventory (VMI), return merchandise authorization (RMA) and shipping. The warehouse will also be equipped with unit load devices (ULDs) for air freight shipments.

    DB Schenker is a longstanding partner of the semiconductor industry and provides advanced logistics solutions located close to production sites. This minimizes downtime, ensures that logistics operations are synchronized, reduces delays and increases efficiency.

    In total, DB Schenker operates 18 logistics sites for the semiconductor industry in Europe.
