    At Schenker Panama we are looking for a Key Account Manager to be part of our team, for our office in Panama, who will be responsible for the commercial management of local, regional, and lobal key accounts according to commercial strategies.

     

    What will be your challenges?

     

    • Development of business opportunities as added value to local businesses with Key Accounts.
    • Communication and alignment with the Regional Account Manager (RAM), Global Account Manager (GAM) on the assigned accounts according.
    • Management and development of commercial relationships with Key Accounts in the Central American region.
    • Plan and develop strategies according to regional or global Key Accounts guidelines.
    • Share minutes of meetings or visits to Key Accounts at the RAMs or GAMs to raise awareness of local management in Central America.
    • CRM system management and Sales Cloud, recording opportunities for pipeline management and visibility. Updating pipeline reports for review processes with pricing and product departments.
    • Support in the implementation of new business wins in local, regional or global tenders.
    • In-person or virtual meeting internally or with the client for the implementation of new businesses.

     

    What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)


    • At least 5 years of experience in logistics sales, supply chain or freight transport.
    • Bachelor´s degree in International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration or related degrees.
    • Knowledge of air traffic for full loads and consolidated cargo of importance and export.
    • Knowledge of quotes and national and international regulations for freight traffic.
    • Geographical knowledge of the main international airports.
    • Incoterms, customs clearance, logistics processes.
    • Good computer skills, MS Office and Excel.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the customers and negotiation skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Solution oriented.
    • Team working.
    • Fluent English (oral & written).
