Role Summary:
Responsible for troubleshooting all systems relating to Brokerage, Importer Security Filings, Foreign Trade Zones and Inbonds that interface with Customs to effect the timely transmission of transactions in compliance with Customs regulations. This tole also is responsible for ongoing system set-up, administration and maintenance.
Principal Responsibilities:

- Act as the technical systems "expert" to provide field support on customs systems and operations as needed.
- Monitor and respond to assistance requests through the ticketing system within the specified timelines.
- Serve as liaison between IT and customs users for all system-related issues.
- Assist in the implementation of new customs product applications and enhancements including user-acceptance testing.
- Accountable for system setups, administration and ongoing maintenance including user setup, table maintenance, Harmonized Tariff updates, ad hoc reporting, etc.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of system administration procedures, including updates to user-training materials.
- Coordinate with users and product management for the ongoing system-related changes and/or new requirements set forth by Customs.
- Liaison with system vendors on system issues (e.g. tickets), enhancements, etc.
- Develop and maintain internal and external reports including but not limited to KPIs, trend, activity, exceptions and compliance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to support internal and external requirements.
- Support other analysts where required.
- Provide training to end users.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by management.
Skills and Competencies:
(The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):
- Batchelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 7 years of brokerage experience preferred with an emphasis on brokerage systems
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Significant technical experience in customs operations, and partner governmental regulations
- Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite
