- Provide strategic leadership and directions to manage daily warehouse operations. * Enforce process compliance and ensure operations meet and achieve customer’s expectation and KPIs. * Accountable for the P&L performance for the responsible programs in scope. * Define requirements for operation and ensures the implementation of new strategies, technologies and initiatives to drive overall performance. * Continuously engage customers on commercial, operational scope of work and contract renewals. * Enforce security and work safety measures and controls in the warehouse. * Monitor department budgetary control and allocation of resources to ensure optimal utilization of resources. * Constantly look for improvement opportunities along the value chain, to streamline and re-engine the processes to achieve and exceed the service standard or target. * Establish and cultivate a good team culture of best practice sharing within the program to motivate staffs to voice out their opinions. * Plan and provide on-the-job training to individual staff to improve work performance and productivity. * Ensure stock inventory accuracy and records are kept up to date. * Ensure storage and office areas are well maintained.
- Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managerial position. • Qualification in warehouse operations and operations excellence will be added advantage. • Positive mindset, team player and high desire for learning. • Results oriented self-starter, analytical and innovative. • Adaptable to fast-moving work environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Access, VBA) • Proficient in using and creating operations dashboards to identify focus areas and drive improvement (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) • Excellent presentation skills and experience in presenting to senior management. • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in resolving problems creatively and innovatively. • Frequently voice out opinions and share best practices to improve team performance. • Excellent interpersonal skills in verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. • Strong analytical skills to review both financial and operational data. • Good knowledge in latest automation technologies and implementation. • Excellent leadership and coaching skills to continuously encourage and motivate employees.
