Ocean Freight Trade & Procurement Manager (*)

We are looking for a highly motivated ‘ Trade & Procurement Manager’ who will be responsible for developing pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, while also ensuring profitability and has responsibility for Ocean Freight Department.

Your Tasks:

Manage and coordinate ocean freight trade and procurement operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners ( Shipping lines, Vendors etc. ) to optimize operational efficiency and resolve any issues that may arise.

Contribute to defining pricing strategy including planning, key initiatives, systems, tools, and budgets

Develop and implement pricing models, tools, systems, and processes to ensure effective and value-driven pricing decision-making and pricing management and efficient responses to pricing requests

Evaluate and monitor existing agreements on pricing and service to ensure a constant alignment with best market practices

Work collaboratively with sales and operations teams to meet deadlines and provide accurate responses

Manages coordination of Ocean Freight pricing process regards to quality standards, committed conditions for increasing business volume

Requirements:

Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.

Strong market understanding and needs / requirements of customers combined with customer centric mindset

Good established relationship with the shipping lines’ representatives

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Generally, prefer 4 years of related management experience, 6 years in operations and Logistic & Services Product Pricing.
