    • Develop and prepare a sales action plan to articulate Schenker’s global position in the industrial market vertical by increase market share in the preselected industries. 
    • Develop an opportunity management footprint to retain and develop new business opportunities within strategic global and country customers in the preselected market segments in line with key trade lane priorities.
    • Identifying Schenker key competencies in line market opportunities of High Potential prospects, by developing and implementing smart sales strategies to achieve new set segment targets.
    • Liaison with the business unit leadership to Create special solutions to meet special customer logistical needs in the vertical segments by Managing new existing channel partners, including RFQ evaluation, selection, contract negotiations.
    • Develop and establish relationships with internal teams such as operations through these partnerships ensuring a seamless and quality operational excellence with relevant government bodies.
    • Develop and Client business development plans for the existing assigned customers by highlighting 360-degree penetration plans for respective territories within Eastern Africa.
    • Prepare quarterly reports for with a 360-degree approach on pipeline and hit ratio results.
    • Manage strategic alliances and partnerships by securing corporate and business relationships through effective client management by designing and execution of sales campaigns, relevant corporate presentations, corporate communication related brochures to ensure success in the target market.
    • Opportunity management in CRM
    • Quotations and RFQ management, 
    • Meet the minimum target of 3 times your cost to company as an indication of performance.
    • Exceeding Performance to target monthly revenues. 
    • Represent the company in the most professional manner possible in accordance with local legislation and all company policies procedures. 
    • Uphold and maintain high compliance as per rules and regulations of DB Schenker.
    • Ensures continuous improvement in customer service through clearly communicating customer expectations and managing the implementation of necessary operations. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or relevant experience
    • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent time-management, planning and organizational skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Microsoft Office skills required, in Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Proven initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
    • Excellent communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing)The ability to work in an organized manner, in a fast-paced environment and manage time to meet deadlines as well as the willingness to work on a flexible work schedule
    • Extremely motivated, assertive, team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, selling solutions, follow-up, closing and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective and problem-solving skill
    • owned car and driver's license is preferred
    • Able to conduct pre-move visit/house survey
    • Experience:
    • Preferably Three (3) years’ relevant experience in Relocation industry from a multinational freight forwarding organization.
