    Responsible for coordinating and communicating the dispatching and deliveries for customs brokerage shipments. Coordinating and monitoring exams and holds imposed by government agencies and resolving related issues to expedite the shipment. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Ensure all shipments have been fully released prior to dispatching • Resolve AMS/ACI discrepancies • Coordinate exams including notifying applicable internal and external parties, identifying exam type and exam site, movement of shipments to exam sites, payment of exam fees, monitoring for release and removal from exam site through to delivery, as applicable. • Communicate release information timely to internal and external parties • Coordinate dispatching and deliveries including checking shipment availability, preparing delivery orders, bookings with trucking companies, monitoring shipment pickups, deliveries, timely update of all mandatory tracking events per global and customer SOPs • Identify all billable services related to exams, deliveries, storage, detention, demurrage, and complete/update billing documentation and or systems. • Develop good relationships with internal/external customers and understand company expectations on all customer service and performance issues to ensure the delivery of a consistently high quality product • Follow-up with internal and external parties to resolve inquiries/service issues • Customer liaison providing shipment status, follow-up and answering operational related questions. • Liaise with service providers, customs, carriers, trucking companies, and others as required • Interface with peers, colleagues, supervisors, and management • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by management

    Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills: • 1-3 years of relevant experience • Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite • General customs brokerage/logistics industry knowledge helpful • Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills required ?
