The Role

We are looking for a motivated team player to join our Air Freight team as a Customer Service Representative in Auckland. In this fixed-term role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive relationship with a globally renowned tech customer, acting as a key liaison between customer contact, operations and sales.

Role Highlights:

Provide timely support to a key Air Freight customer in order to ensure that DB Schenker consistently meets customer requirements and expectations
Coordinate customer shipments, monitoring until delivered to the destination in line with agreed service levels
Look for new and innovative ways to reduce costs and increase profitability for the company
Resolve customer complaints as quickly as possible to ensure longevity of the customer relationship
Assist with resolving invoice queries and pre-alert customers to extra-ordinary charges as required

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a candidate with excellent customer service skills and previous experience working in freight forwarding or logistics. You will have a highly service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. With at least 2+ years in customer service, you will have the proven ability to influence and manage relationships with key customers in order to foster a positive customer experience with DB Schenker.
