About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager in Operational Excellence to join our team at the Regional Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving operational perfor-mance, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and implementing digital solutions to enhance effi-ciency. You will collect and analyze operational data, monitor key performance indicators, and drive process im-provements using methodologies such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Performance Management to achieve best-in-class operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams on audits, certifications, and compliance with industry standards.
Your tasks:
- Monitor the European network and support with analysis of predefined product lead times and standard processes
- Provide KPI data and create reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Support obtaining and maintaining quality certifications on a European level
- Drive continuous improvement management processes
- Act as a contact partner and support function for the European cluster and country organizations
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and analyze reports, briefing documents, and presentations
- Organize, prepare, and facilitate European workshops
- Ensure adherence to safety and security standards for transport and terminal handling
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on audits, certifications, and operational excellence initia-tives
- Support the implementation of digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Your Profile:
- Completed a good apprenticeship or a bachelor’s degree (preferably with a focus on logistics) and profound professional experience, ideally in the freight forwarding industry
- Proven experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a similar role within logis-tics or transportation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Knowledge of quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and operational best practices.
- Experience with Lean Management, Six Sigma (Green Belt certification is a plus), and Perfor-mance Management methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, thoroughly, and in a structured manner, while also supporting the team
- Fluent in written and spoken English; another European language is a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- No fear of getting acquainted with new IT tools and systems
- Any international working experience will be an advantage
