Key Responsibilities

SAP EWM Consultant

Configuration of SAP Logistics IT-Solutions

Main Tasks

• Working on multiple EWM projects 
• Customizing and configuration of existing SAP EWM solutions 
• Understand customer requirements and design respective EWM based IT solutions. 
• Manage SAP EWM Solution implementations, including budget, resources and timeline planning 
• Support local organization in all IT implementation related activities 
• Deliver high quality solutions 
• Ensure training of the implementation, to enable a smooth handover to operations 
• Align all solutions with business and IT solution owners 
• Manage external suppliers, e.g. consultants, 3rd parties’ software vendors 
• Participating in the EWM project planning process with clients, business analysts and team members
• Evaluation of IT systems, feasibility measurement, cost estimation  

Project related tasks

• Project management and system engineering
• Go-Live support. 
• Support project organization for integration- and user acceptance test
• Provide system documentation for key-user training and operation.

• Personality profile: possesses integrity, uses initiative, has commitment, self-reliant, flexible, ability to work under pressure, is persistent, assertive, emphasis on a quality delivery, willing to travel (10% of time), strategic mindset 
• Interpersonal skills: strong communication skills with teams and project members and suppliers
• People leadership: sound judgment, coaching/mentoring, able to evaluate staff, and assign tasks according to their skills (for stream lead roles in projects)
• Problem solving analysis and structuring of complex issues, flair for pragmatic solutions, priority setting  
• Languages: Fluent English, oral & written (mandatory)

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

• Sound experience in SAP EWM 
• Experience in S/4HANA 
• Good understanding of logistics business processes
• Experience in design and customizing in SAP. 
• Several years’ work experience in SAP EWM projects preferred in large/global organizations. 
• Minimum of 7 years work experience with SAP consulting and customizing in SAP EWM

Formal Education & Certification

• College diploma or university degree in the field of Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, Logistics, or comparable working experience
• Beneficial certification in SAP
