Tasks & Responsibilities: • Procurement of rates and side conditions with ocean carriers and occasional procurement with trucking companies • Contract management: maintenance of service contract, updating buying conditions, cross-checking RCM against s/c • “Buying conditions”: providing OPS with updated buy rates for key accounts • Completing RFQs • Providing spot quotes for key accounts • Monitor weekly booking situation to ensure TAEB trade carrier targets are met • Collect and provide data and market intel • Re-procure and optimize existing business to increase g/p
