    As a Solution Designer, you will be a vital member of our agile team, that is organized in squads, focusing on areas like rollout and training, testing, solutioning and developing.

    One of the main pillars of the business is the execution area, which deals with designing and testing new solutions, training Key Users, supporting users in aligning the business process with accepted standards, and solving problems during the implementation phase of the application in countries. Being part of the related implementation teams presents you with challenges, such as developing solutions for the business within the available functionalities of the TMS ecosystem and testing them according to business needs.


    You will be reporting directly to the Squad Lead and will take charge of the entire demand process, from requirement elicitation and specification to accompany development and final deployment. In addition, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of the rollout in a European country until the introduction of STAR TMS and related Hypercare activities. You will work closely with the Business Architecture department, end users, and software development team, leveraging your expertise to analyze processes, identify gaps, and drive successful rollouts.


    Responsibilities

    • You support, analyze and test applications that support the transportation process and prepare the transformation process between the old and new transportation systems. You validate the correctness and usability of data while developing alternative solutions.
    • You are proactively setting impulses within your squad and are meeting business ambitions by gathering information and elaborating needs by closely collaborating with stakeholders.
    • You are closely aligning and collaborating with our Business Unit Land Transport as well as our Application Management and Solution Architects all aiming to improve your colleague’s day to day work
    • You are responsibly developing plans for training new features, workshops & handover activities
    • You monitor the success of your solutions after implementation and drive continuous improvement. In collaboration with local users, you can prove the correctness of calculations and documents in the new application.
    • Taking on responsibility for your actions while creating your daily agenda and developing solutions meeting the demand
    • You are supporting test activities: Functional Unit Testing, Integration Testing and assist end users in User Acceptance Testing to validate the business scenarios
    • You provide input for training material and coordinate and conduct expert training in collaboration with the training team
    • You support in dedicated service activities and troubleshooting
    • Configuring the applications based on the country specific needs while managing data migration, planning and execution of cut-over activities for ECO rollouts is part of your role
    • You work in a young, international, cross-functional and distributed team and apply the latest methods of agile working


    Qualifications:


    • You hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent education and experience in logistics & transport companies
    • Ideally with multiple years of experience in logistics, Controlling, Business Analysis or IT Demand Management, you bring valuable expertise to the role. As well experience in set up and maintaining of transport/logistics related tariff agreements would be welcome
    • Your technical understanding in large IT environments allows you to navigate complex systems, ideally you worked with SAP or related controlling tools
    • Your experience working in agile organisations, DevOps environments, and continuous integration setups enables you to thrive in dynamic settings
    • Possessing strong intercultural competence, a global mindset, and excellent communication skills and your willingness to travel highlights your dedication to driving global impact and fostering strong relationships
    • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken – German and/or Polish or any other European language skills are beneficial for this role
    • You are highly motivated for ongoing learning & self-study approach, and you bring intrinsic curiosity to gathering and consolidating information to continuously improve the business
