Position Description Summary: Responsible for performing production and quality control audits. Assures compliance to in-house and external specifications and standards, such as ISO regulations. May be required to do ISO training. May conduct vendor evaluation audits to determine if qualified. May also conduct training on quality assurance systems. Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into products. Design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of service commitments. Analyze reports and product issues, and recommend corrective action. Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): · Identify and evaluate operations performance and recommends improvements to increase quality and reduce quality related defects. Evaluate and measure actual results against plan. Implement changes to accomplish goals and objectives · Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality System. Drive accountability and accuracy as per the Global and Local Implementation Procedures and uses checklist to meet implementation dates · Develop and publish Implementation Timeline for each bid · Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills in implementing decisions with substantial fiscal impact to company · Accountable for measured improvement in inter-company breakage reports and trends · Assist in development of Customer Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Requirements Documents · Continually review processes and exceptions to processes and make recommendations for improvement · Monitor compliance compared to established quality guidelines. Develop management reports as required · Plan and direct the day to day activities of the Quality Assurance Coordinators · Create plans, develop procedures, and implement service systems. Serve as facilitator during implementation process and follow through to ensure compliance or revisions to original plans. Coordinate with other departments to accomplish goals · Audit and research service performance issues • Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures • Select and place staff, ensure staff receives training for job activities, and define specific job assignments.
