- Coordination in handling of local & international shipments on fairs, events & relocations (special logistics).
- Emails, operations, accounts & rate inquiries.
- Documentation on import and export formalities – checking CCIPL, HS Code, AWB/BL/Waybill/etc, ATA Carnets, and other simplified forms of Declarations and applicable documents.
- Prepares HS code summary, DO communication, requirement & collection in ODEX and other shipping line, request for clearance/BOE submission.
- Coordinates operations team on clearance & deliveries of the cargo.
- Onsite venue visits for coordination/management of handling operations and customer care (including traveling inside KSA and outside KSA where applicable).
- Schedule pick-up and delivery with a transporter.
- Provide quotation/cost indication with the client.
- Schenker Network’s (3rd Party agents) sales leads handling including direct sales activities where applicable.
- Sales Leads generation and sharing with Schenker Network and/or 3r Party agents (where applicable).
- Checking sea freight & vessel schedule with the shipping line (and/or 3r Party agents where applicable).
- Checking air freight rates with the air import/export team (and/or 3r Party agents where applicable).
- Checking road freight rates with the Road Freight Dept and direct carriers (forwarders and/or 3r Party agents where applicable).
- Procurement/sourcing/vendors management (Operational Level).
- Manage different systems and other corporate IT infrastructure where applicable.
- Working in accordance with the project schedule and timing.
- Graduate of any field.
- Has 3-5 years’ experience in a related position (Forwarder or Customer).
- Overall knowledge of logistics, all modes of transportation, and customs.
- Ability to multi-task and effective time management.
- Flexibility in traveling, overtime, and working during day-offs and holidays (when and where applicable).
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and strong communication skills.
- Good command of the English language (in addition Arabic would be a benefit).
