Software Engineer L2/ABAP Interface

Job Locations: Gurgaon/Pune/ Hyderbad

Context:

§ For the strengthening of our central department, we would like to employ an interfaces specialist with a strong background in SAP. The main objectives will be technical and functional support in SAP projects, namely the solution design, maintenance and support of SAP solutions.

§ Our system landscape comprises SAP ECC 6 FI / CO / FSCM / LO-AB / BI / GRC, SAP Solution Manager, S/4HANA and Ariba.

§ A focus will be on the interfaces to and from other SAP and Non-SAP systems, including Ariba.

General Tasks:

§ Interface Monitoring

§ Maintenance and continued development of Interface Reporting Tools

§ Analysis of the requirements of the Schenker companies and development of a technical solution design derived from a functional concept

§ Maintenance of interface jobs from our operational Non-SAP pre-systems to our SAP systems and further to our post-systems like data warehouses

§ Documentation of all interface project and change request phases, using the SAP Solution Manager

§ Change Request Management: Quality assurance of standard interface changes. Processing of complex and project change requests in SAP interfaces

§ Ongoing liaison with internal & external stakeholders

Tasks specific to AP automation initiative:

§ Support in definition of interfaces between SAP and target system

§ Coordinate with Vendor and DBS Solution Architect and Middleware team to implement and test the corresponding interfaces

§ Provide data extraction to support Vendors and MD activities

§ Support in enablement of new interfaces (webservice/ITK) between SAP and Ariba.

§ Coordinate with DBS Solution Architect and Middleware team to enhance existing interfaces.

§ Provide data extraction to support Vendors and MD activities.

§ Perform needed customizations at SAP and create ABAP programs to fulfil Ariba requirements.

To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess/display the following key skills/attributes:

§ Knowledge in SAP Interface Technology (Web Services (REST and SOAP), ALE, IDOCS, BAPI's, BTCI, ABAP4, ODATA etc.)

§ Strong ABAP OO knowledge including interface and enhancement capabilities,

§ Performance & high data volumes aspects knowledge in integration area,

§ Familiarity with SAP FICO data model,

§ Experience in large, multinational organizations with a central SAP landscape,

§ Ability to work in teams,

§ Very good command of English and ability to communicate on international level,

§ SAP Ariba technical integration experience,

§ Knowledge to configure and support Ariba integration scenarios such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), CIG,Supplier Management, and Contract Management,

§ Provide technical support for SAP Ariba integration issues, including debugging and resolving ABAP-related problems,

§ Hands on experience in participating to capture Business requirements and provide the Business solutions for each requirement,

§ SAP Solution Manager Experience.

B.tech/M.tech/BCA/MCA

§ Experience in SAP Interface Technology (Web Services (REST and SOAP), ALE, IDOCS, BAPI's, BTCI, ABAP4, ODATA etc.)

§ Strong ABAP OO knowledge including interface and enhancement capabilities,

§ SAP Ariba technical integration experience.
