Develop, organize, audit and functional wise lead the HSSE team for a business product. Leads the planning, implementation, and coordination of Safety, Security and Training, and Facility Programs across multiple sites to minimize risks, ensure compliance, and protect the organization’s assets and personnel. Responsible for Safety, Training, Security and Facility for a business product.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, appointing, training, and managing the site HSSE officers.
• Auditing of sites according to the global HSSE guidelines and checklists
• Timely investigation of all incidents in the field of safety, security, and behavioral deviations
• Reporting on all incidents and generation of One Pager information leaflets for internal distribution and management information
• Visitor Management Setup for the sites, setting procedures, logs as well as entry and exit procedures.
• Administration of security checks and problem solving of ticket systems with delegation
• Implementing audits and site self-assessments for all HSSE issues according to the global guidelines
• Feedback of best practices into the local HSSE community and global HSSE community
• Assistance of the local contract management team for all HSSE questions
• Establishment of a local safety committee and overseeing its activities
• Establishing a routine safety walk program and tracking the actions in the observation and implementation lists
• Selecting, training, and setting up of an emergency response team
• Maintaining the training matrix and updating the training databases.

• Manage multiple Supervisors
• Supports up to 9 different locations
Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills:
• This is a manager level role. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
• Solid understanding of industry and international HSSE standards, e.g. TAPA, C-TPAT / AEO, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Fundamental understanding of the global supply-chain / logistics industry incl. operational experiences
• Leadership skills and the ability to advocate a living HSSE culture on all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel within the product sites.
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Security Management, or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience managing HSSE programs on a global scale.
