    Your tasks

    Responsible for managing the activities of the accounting fixed assets and leases functions and systems as relates to all affiliated intra- and inter-company relationships and agreements. Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Leads or manages the development, implementation, or maintenance of general accounting systems
    • Ensure general ledger and balance sheet properly reflect performance according to GAAP
    • Review all systems, structures, and processes to identify where improvements can be made to enhance operating and financial performance
    • Develop budgets and forecasts that are clearly supported by historical reference and quantifiable to future economic events that impact operations
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting
    • Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance to GAAP
    • Detailed analysis of invoices o Determination of whether the invoice is properly capitalizable o Determination of ownership for CL according to contracts o Analysis of sales tax on invoice to determine if it needs to be passed to the tax department o Analysis of late payment fees and how to mitigate them
    • Detailed assistance with the setup and maintenance of e-Procure as it impacts fixed assets, Leasing Tool, and invoices in general
    • Audit support schedules related to rent, assets, and leases (rent and equipment related)
    • Real Estate rent reconciliation and yearly operating expense reconciliations including Real Estate Tax assessment disputes tracking with landlords and related follow-up. Also looks for property tax savings. Deliverables & Achievables:
    • Complete fixed asset and lease records and associated accounting entries
    • Accounting entries and reconciliations as required

    Requirements

    Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills This is an individual contributor management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Generally, prefer 3-5 years of related experience.
