Data Analyst Expert

Testing of Finance-BI reports, data validation of Finance-BI with source systems, ServiceNow ticketing and incident management, repository management, flat files maintenance, Go-Live support, maintenance of communication channels.

Essential duties required for the Finance-BI Senior Analyst position and the regular responsibilities that people must undertake to perform well in the role:

Maintenance of Communication Channel 

• Posting of contents on MS Teams and NSC Workspace after alignment with stakeholders 
• Updating and further enhancement of existing MS Team Page/landing page 
• Creation of new MS Teams page as required
• Preparation and creation of video materials with CAMTASIA or "My Simple Show Video"
• Support preparation and sending of Finance-BI Newsletter and other information after alignment with stakeholders 
• Support preparation, evaluation, and communication of Finance-BI user feedback survey 
• Maintain Finance-BI distribution lists
• Preparation and creation of training and communication materials and content

User Support

• Support users to get access to Finance-BI 
• Provides answers to general user questions, inquiries and feedbacks regarding Finance-BI concerns 
• Resolve incident and service requests
• Prepare system usage statistics and overview

F-BI report testing/analysis

• Report validation using test cases before go-live/release
• Testing and verification of data integration and data models
• Support root cause analysis of identified error
• Documentation of test results

Data Maintenance 

• Prepare and support preparation of Flat files
• Coordinate with I.T. to ensure that the flat files are uploaded to the system 
• Validation and quality assurance of Flat files upload in Finance-BI o Maintain Flat file status file
• Support continuous improvement of general Flat file process

Repository Management 

• Update and enhance report repository in SharePoint list (data source) as well as in Power BI (frontend) 
• Update and enhance KPI repository in SharePoint list (data source) as well as in Power BI (frontend)
• Coordinate information gathering with stakeholders for both report and KPI repositories

Additional tasks 

• Conduct/facilitate trainings related to Finance-BI as required
• Maintain and support on FinanceBI report/ PowerBI dashboard development
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time

• Bachelor’s degree (Business or Finance or Information technology or any equivalent course welcomed)
• Proven work experience as data analyst or in a related field 
• Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Honest, innovative, motivated, flexible
• Great team player, also able to work independently and independently manage small projects
• Minimum two years of preparation, data analysis and data extraction experience
• Strong background in automation / BI solutions (PowerBI, Finance-BI) and experience in working with them
• Experience in assisting in the evaluation and development of enhancements to automate process for reporting purposes
• Proficiency in using MS365 applications
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills for stakeholder’s communication, interpersonal skills, and intercultural competency including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
