LCL Gateway Export Supervisor

Tasks & Responsibilities: • Responsible for providing high level of support and supervision to export department by managing the daily activities of the Gateway export LCL operations team. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): • Supervise export Gateway operations activities * Responsible for proper processing and releasing export shipments • Research and resolve problems on export Gateway LCL product • Support with maintaining and developing co-loaders, partner relationships. • Recognize and resolve day to day operational problems in conjunction with the branch operations team and our vendors • Identifying and improving service and operations related issues in a station, including the release of loading instructions, accurate and timely, monitor vendors inventory and warehouse operations • Verify and approval of carriers’ invoices. • Assist in auditing and researching service performance issues and develop recommendations for improvements • Actively encourage the training and career development of the department team. • Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures • The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills • This is a Supervisor position. • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Generally, prefer 2-4 years of related supervision experience
