    Customer Operations Manager – Airfreight Business
     
    We’re seeking an experienced Customer Operations Manager to lead our Airfreight team in Manchester. This pivotal role requires strong leadership and operational excellence to deliver efficient, customer-focused services while driving profitability and growth. If you’re ready to manage a dynamic team and shape the future of airfreight operations, we want to hear from you.

    Location: Manchester
    Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm


    What Will You Be Doing?

    • Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence and meet business goals.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment with effective communication and performance management.
    • Develop and implement strategies to align customer expectations with business objectives.
    • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve operational efficiency.
    • Ensure effective resource planning and customer satisfaction through seamless service delivery.
    • Oversee financial planning, including budgets and forecasts, to meet profitability targets.
    • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and UK/Ireland legislation.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
    About You

     To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
    • Proven experience in an operational management role, preferably within the airfreight or logistics industry.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • A track record of meeting operational and financial targets.
    • Experience in implementing process improvements and driving business growth.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize workflows and improve service quality.
    • Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices in logistics and freight operations.
    • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer excellence.
