Job responsibilities:
- Guide and support all functions in DB Schenker for land transport and customs-related requirements
- Collaborate with customers on daily basis to check and verify the shipping docs for customs clearance
- Ensure billing is done timely and accurately
- Co-ordinate with trucking team to get delivery done smoothly
- Support the functions and business units and monitor their operative tasks to ensure legal compliance with land transport, customs and other regulations
- Ensure compliance with country subcontractor management policies and procedures
- Perform internal reviews of adherence to global and country standards as well as customer SOPs with regards to land transport, customs brokerage and related taxes at BU level.
- Ensure that the KPIs are being achieved by the subcontractors
- Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met
- Support Sales, Air, Ocean and Logistics functions in selling Land Transport and Customs Services by providing expert know-how in sales and tender processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 2-3years experience of Customer Service Coordinator in Land Transport of Freight Forwarder industry or Fresh graduate enough to apply
- Good command of English, Chinese is a plus
- Good computer skill especially Microsoft office Word, Excel, Power Point
- Good communication skill, efficiency in time management, high accuracy and patience and problem-solving skill
- Good Team player and interpersonal skill
The incumbent would report under Land Transport Department. The primary function of the work-stream and of the role of Land Transport Coordinator is responsible to operate the Land Transport operations to ensure in the delivery best-of-class service to internal and external customers.
