Accounting and Tax expert

Responsibilities:

• Participate in fit-gap workshops;
• Experiment with system behavior to support decisions on system configuration;
• Define functional specification for integration related local requirements;
• Gather input for tax related master data, e.g. SAP Ariba master data tables for tax determination;
• Provide expertise SAP Ariba invoice reconciliation process  end to end as it is was configured for DB Schenker;
• Make recommendations on target state processes and system configurations, to handle local requirements;
• Support integration testing for invoice and payment interfaces;
• Support functional acceptance testing for invoice and tax related processes;
• Manage and conduct user acceptance testing of the invoice related part of the solutions;
• Support end-users after the go-live.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree, preferably in the field of accounting, finance and economics;
• Preferably 3- 5 years of relevant experience;
• Good knowledge in IFRS 16;
• Proficiency in working with ERP, preferably SAP;
• Good technical knowledge of MS office;
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to understand complex environments;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Very good English language skills; Good French language skills, will be an advantage .
