- A motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the accounts receivable team. The intern will gain valuable insight into the payment lifecycle, account management, and reconciliation processes while contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
Payment Confirmation:
- Review and verify incoming payments against customer invoices.
- Accurately record payment transactions in the accounting system.
- Notify relevant stakeholders of payment receipts and discrepancies.
Account Ledger Reconciliation:
- Assist in reconciling customer account balances by matching payments with invoices.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including overpayments, underpayments, and unapplied payments.
- Update and maintain customer account records to ensure accuracy.
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting,
- Good technical knowledge of MS office,
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Detail oriented,
- Good English language skills,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Degree in the field of accounting, finance and economics, or business-related courses
- Previous experience in working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module.
- Very good accounting background
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines.
- Self-motivation, quick learning, and creative thinking
