Job Overview
As a Field Sales Ocean professional, your primary objective is to drive the company's profit growth through the development of new clients, maintaining existing clients, and expanding your portfolio. Your key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting for new business opportunities within a designated geographic area and defined maritime product.
- Growing business with existing clients and maintaining/retaining your client portfolio.
- Managing opportunities from identification to entry in the CRM system.
- Critically analyzing client requests.
- Issuing or drafting technical proposals related to qualification objectives.
- Coordinating bids with internal teams.
- Conducting external client visits and updating the system according to targets.
- Providing internal reports on sales activities, agenda, and prospecting.
- Focusing on the maritime modality.
- Registering new clients in Schenker's systems.
- Managing contracts and SOP.
Anforderungen
What you need to succeed
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Trade, International Trade, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in client management and business development.
