    Job Overview

    At Schenker International S.A. de C.V. we are looking for a Platform Support Speacialist to be part of our IT team, for our office in Guadalajara, Mexico, who will be responsible for supporting DB Schenker's Cloud environments.

    This position is responsible for supporting DB Schenker's Cloud environments based on a multi-hybrid-cloud architecture using global support processes and tools.

    This role contributes to the Cloud Journey of DB Schenker by operating the infrastructure stack of the Schenker Cloud platform conducting standard operations tasks, utilizing our modern IaC stack.

    What you need to succeed

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
    • 2-3 years' experience in 1st or 2nd level IT Support
    • Experience with cloud computing and orchestration (based on AWS or Azure)
    • Experience in applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) paradigms
    • Preferred applied tool knowledge: Terraform, CHEF, GIT, Jenkins, AZURE DevOps
    • Basic knowledge of ITIL processes (Foundation Level)
    • Basic knowledge of IT security regulations and standards such as ISO 27001

    What will be your challenges?

    • Maintain stable service operation within time zone
    • Perform regular monitoring, verifying and reviewing of managed resources status
    • Perform preliminary investigation and provide possible workaround applied to customer incidents
    • Perform continuous support for customer service requests, incl. new provision, build, configuration based on service catalogue following the given SOPs
    • Defer and gather respective incidents and report as problem to engineering level
    • Maintain and track SLAs in incident management, escalate when needed
    • Respond on respect the SLA to service request/incident etc. Escalate in time for complex issues
