    • Required:
        • Ensuring security of software operation platforms by constant improvement and application of (security) updates

        • Continuous development and maintenance of our Kubernetes platform
        • Continuous development and maintenance of our development toolbox (GitLab, Sonar, Nexus, Grafana, …)
        • Deployment and maintenance of infrastructure in cloud environments
        • Development and maintenance of scripts and pipelines for continuous deployment of our platform components
        • Development of Go/Python based tools
        • Researching latest tools and methodologies to provide ideal and optimal solutions
        • Creation and maintenance of strategies to avoid risks and for disaster recovery
        • Monitoring & optimizing costs of resource usage
        • Evaluating resource sizing and -usage restrictions
        • Opportunity to participate in defining DB Schenker Cloud standardization & harmonization
        • Participation in 24x7 on-call duty rotation


    • Required:
      • Kubernetes and Container technology
    1. Docker
    2. Linux system administration knowledge at least on the level of LPIC-1
    3. Amazon Web Services knowledge (for example AWS Developer Associate Training)
    4. CI/CD pipelines
    5. Networking (IP/TCP/HTTP) at least on the level of LPIC-1, section 109.3 Basic network troubleshooting
    6. Cloud native scripting languages (bash, terraform, …)
    7. Logging, monitoring, and alerting
    8. Software Development background (e.g., Go, Python)
    9. Experience in designing Cloud Native applications using AWS
    10. SQL Databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
    11. Familiar with Lean/Agile practices such as Kanban
    • Preferred:
      1. Application Performance Monitoring
      2. Amazon Web Services knowledge (for example AWS Developer Associate Training)
      3. Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
      4. Solid security knowledge (Encryption, PKI, Credential Rotation)
      5. GitLab, SonarQube, Dependency Track, Trivy, Grafana, Dynatrace, OpenSearch 


     


      • Preferred:
        1. Minimum 6yr experience as DevOps Engineer only. 
        2. Application Performance Monitoring
        3. Amazon Web Services knowledge (for example AWS Developer Associate Training)
        4. Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
        5. Solid security knowledge (Encryption, PKI, Credential Rotation)
